Pandemic-like crises can hasten the process of evolution. Today India play a test at Kanpur.  Back on 26.11.1976 – India played NZ at Chepauk, Venkatraghavan scored a classy 64 ! and India won easily.

 

Those days, before the start of live relay, camera would zoom on this DD tower, then focus on the Bells Road, taking us inside the stadium .. .. remember those days

This tower is a good 2km + away from my terrace !!
