“Balti” - a somersault (flip) is an acrobatic exercise in which a person's body rotates 360° around a horizontal axis with the feet passing over the head.

 

பல்டி எந்த மொழிச் சொல் தெரியாது !   நின்ற நிலையிலிருந்து துள்ளிக் கைகளைத் தரையில் ஊன்றி, உடலைத் தலைக்கு மேலாகத் தூக்கிப் போட்டு விழுதல் என விவரமாக கூறினாலும் -  இந்த சொல் - முதலில் ஒப்புக்கொண்டதைச் செய்யாமல் பின்வாங்குதலை அல்லது நிலை மாறுதலை குறிக்கிறது.
